Zooming in
on April’s meeting, our judges reviewed over 150 print and digital entries,
included some pretty awesome photos. At the conclusion of the evening, Jim
Lynch had two winning photos: Digital of the Month, Old Truck with proud photographer, Jim Lynch (above) and his Print
of the Month, Red Barn (not shown). Jim has given all our members a ‘gold standard’
to reach, and the quality of competition entries this year has certainly given
Jim a challenging contest. A big thanks to Lauren Cary for syncing delicious
snacks to our hungry appetites. Yummm.
Adjust your aperture
and keep your angle of view on our next meeting, May 1, 2013 at 7:00 pm. It’s our
End of the Year Competition which will include all prints and digitals that
were accepted during the 2012-2013 Camera Club. We ask members who have had
prints accepted during 2012-2013 competition meetings to bring them to this
meeting. No need to resubmit your accepted digitals entries, they’ve been
compiled and will be ready for judging in May. Hope to see you in focus at our May meeting.
