Our last meeting of the 2012-2013 BSCC season was a time for great food and reflection on meetings past and what’s ahead for next year. On the business end, the members selected the topics for next year’s competition, voted in officers, and discussed direction for next year’s 2013-2014 season. After sharing some delicious food dishes, those present enjoyed the power point, created by Shelly Martinez, set to music showing all the accepted photos for the year. A feeling of accomplishment fell over the group as we watched in amazement the selection of photos that represented a tremendous amount of time, effort and creativity. One would find it apparent that this camera club most definitely achieved the goals to improve the photography skills of its members and associate with other photographers. Beyond the beauty of each photograph, behind each picture was a member's eye to the world, a peek into the thoughts and imagination of its creator. The challenge of each club meeting is for members to gain the skill and knowledge to become a better photographer. Those present unanimously believed it was a year well done!
