The
Berrien Springs Camera Club will meet on Wednesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the
Berrien Springs Community Library at Cass and Union.
Cheryl Thomas, president, states that our scheduled speaker was unable to
present so for the March meeting members are invited to submit up to 5 digital
images for projection and critique. Members may wish to turn in five pictures
rejected by judges during recent competition, or send in five of your favorite
photos for an informal critique. The club’s monthly meetings alternate between
competitions, with three judges at each one, and other kinds of presentations.
Members have noticed how very subjective judging can be. Sometimes an image
that is “out” one month may be resubmitted in another competition, with
different judges, and receive “honor” status. The March meeting will feature
some of these rejected images and let the whole group offer informal evaluations
and suggestions for improvement. Submission guidelines are different than the
regular submissions, format your images as follows:

The public is welcome. Membership is required for submissions. You may submit
photos and join our club at the meeting. Refreshments are served at each
